At the invitation of the American Councils for International Education, Romania Branch, CNRED representatives participated, on May 22, 2021, in an online meeting with the new generation of FLEX Romania scholarship holders 2021-2022.

Under the auspices of UNESCO, the representatives of the signatory countries of the Global Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education, including Romania, through the National Center for Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas, met on Friday, May 7, 2021, in an international webinar dedicated to implementing the Convention.

Together with the representatives of the ENIC-NARIC Centers from Italy, the Netherlands and France, the National Center for Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas participated, on April 6, 2021, in the fourth online working meeting of the DEQAR CONNECT project.

CNRED participated today, February 12, together with the representatives of the ENIC-NARIC Centers from Italy, Netherlands and France, in the third online working meeting of the DEQAR CONNECT project.

On January 19 this year, the launch meeting of the project "Comparing qualifications for a fair recognition 2 (QUATREC 2)", funded by the Erasmus+ program, action 3, a project for members of the network of National Centers of Education, took place online. ENIC / NARIC recognition, in which CNRED is a partner with Latvia, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Bulgaria, Lithuania and Armenia.

The National Center for Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas participated today, December 18, 2020, together with representatives of the ENIC-NARIC Centers in Italy, the Netherlands and France, in the second online working meeting of the DEQAR CONNECT project.

The Ministry of Education and Research, through the National Center for Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas (CNRED), has become a partner in the European project Enhancing the Coverage and Connectivity of QA in the EHEA through DEQAR (DEQAR CONNECT), funded by Erasmus PLUS, a project for ENIC/NARIC networks of national recognition centers and Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education.

On 5th of November, the representatives of CNRED were, as every year, with the Union of Liberal Professions in Romania, at the "Day of Liberal Professions in Romania", which, this time, was held under the theme "Liberal professions and the public interest" - www.uplr.ro.

The National Center for the Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas recently celebrated 20 years of activity, 20 years of "Correct information - the key to the recognition of studies". On this occasion, CNRED handed over to the collaborators, public authorities, higher education institutions, professional bodies, Certificates of appreciation for the constant partnership and the active role in developing and supporting the recognition of the studies.

The European Commission publishes annually, starting in 2013, statistical data on the functioning of the IMI network, which highlights the 5 performance indicators for IMI information requests - the Professional Qualifications component, module coordinated by CNRED, and the results of Romania, currently these being positioned above the European average...
